Sad news from Adrenaline Mob, whose bass player David (“Dave Z”) Zablidowsky was killed in a three-car accident in Florida over the weekend. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to an Adrenaline Mob song, but this is terrible either way. Rest in peace, Dave.

Leading off, here’s a tour announcement you won’t see every day: Moon Tooth has revealed that they and Tombs will be supporting…Fit for an Autopsy? And hey! They’re coming to my hometown, so I can do one of my patented “catch both the opening bands, then Irish exit before the headliner” routines!
Sleep has been doing a few select tour dates this year with direct support from Virginia’s new doom legends, Windhand. I had the privilege of attending the sold out show at Mr. Small’s Theatre in Millvale, Pennsylvania. There were no locals on the show as Windhand and Sleep together had sets long enough to fill the 3 hour show time. Attendees had packed in early as not to miss a moment of either band.
