Quickies on time? On a Thursday? Quickies on time! On a Thursday! Someday I’ll find a better way to intro these posts, but it is not this day. Anyway, let’s get into it, shall we? Here’s what we missed in the metal world today:
- Looks like the guys in Goatwhore are gonna be pretty busy for the rest of the year–the band announced a whole bunch of U.S. and European tour dates carrying them through nearly Christmas.
- Manimal extraordinaire Matt Pike had a nice chat with Loudwire about new High on Fire material and…maybe new Sleep stuff? Draw your own conclusions.
- Anaal Nathrakh dropped a new song called “Idol,” from their upcoming album Desideratum. You should only listen to it if you like awesome things.
- I’ve never actually heard of Bloodiest, but apparently their guitarist killed a guy while driving drunk. Congratulations, Sean Patrick Riley, you’re a fucking idiot. Enjoy prison.
- And finally, the guys in Exmortus shredded The Star Spangled Banner at a Bakersfield Blaze minor league baseball game last week. Check it out here:
That’ll do it! Check back tomorrow for more Horns Up.
