Somehow we made it to the midway point of the week without the universe collapsing.

• You may recall that I was a big fan of what Aara dropped last year, but only wished there was more of it. Well, me, I have good news! The Swiss black metal project returns in 2021 with a new album, the first installment of a trilogy. Triade I: Eos drops on March 26th through Debemur Morti Productions. Check out a new song, “Naufragus”, right now.
• Of Mice & Men have signed on with Sharptone Records, and are preparing the release of a new EP on February 26th titled Timeless. If this is something that intrigues you, check out the new animated video for “Obsolete”.
• Technically yesterday’s news, but whatever. The Lion’s Daughter has announced their fourth full-length, Skin Show, is lined up for an April 9th release through Season of Mist. Check out the first single from that record, “Neon Teeth”, here.
• Spanish doom metallers Golgotha dropped a new video today, and that sounds like a fun note to end on. And by fun, I mean the opposite of that. “Don’t Waste Your Life” is taken from Remembering the Past – Writing the Future, an EP set for a March 2nd release date through Xtreem Music.
