Another week down in July and another scorcher. But, it’s ok because I live for swamp ass levels of heat and humidity. HA. Anyway, we’ve got a lighter load this week in terms of quantity but the quality is through the roof nearly throughout this entire list. And, it all starts with the debut from death dealers Ageless Summoning with a record that I’m calling now will be in TONS of year end lists. This thing is stunningly nasty, dig it. Then we’ve got Oxbow and their nearly unclassifiable rock-metal-noise-lovesongs and it’s another stunner, Inhuman Condition dial up the swamp ass grooves on their EP of Floridian death metal whoop ass, Outer Heaven also open up a can of death metal whoop ass but from a psychic-paranormal-spacey sort of plane, and, as always, there’s several more to sink your teeth into… but not AS many as last week.
