CANTO: Slipknot, Mizmor, In Flames, and More

The evening forecast: playoff hockey and death metal. And beer. Always beer.

  • Tours! First, Slipknot is celebrating 25 years with an arena tour that will also include Knocked Loose,
Orbit Culture, and Vended, depending on the leg. That all kicks off on August 6, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday.
  • Next, Mizmor announced an upcoming North American tour as well, where they’ll be joined by Amarok and Tithe… depending on the dates. Those are all in July, and tickets can be acquired here.
  • In Flames is about to embark on their U.S. tour, which I’m super excited to attend myself, and today they announced anniversary vinyl reissues for Lunar Strain, Colony, Soundtrack To Your Escape, and Siren Charms. Grab one or all of them here.
  • Ok, what else we got? Umbra Vitae shared a video for “Velvet Black”, a track taken from their sophomore LP Light Of Death. That’s out on June 7 through Deathwish.
  • And finally, Neaera dropped a new video and single titled “Pacifier”, which is how we’re going to end our Tuesday. The German metalcore crew are celebrating their 20th year with the release of All Is Dust, set for a June 28 release through Metal Blade.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
