Really starting to feel the weight of this heat. Yep. The heat. That’s the weight I’m feeling. That and nothing else, obviously. Oh shit, right. Metal things. What does the inbox look like today?

  • A couple of tours to start. First, Glacial Tomb announced some September dates, which includes a stop at New England Metal and Hardcore Fest and a supporting appearance for Deicide. Here’s the full schedule, and a reminder that Lightless Expanse is out on September 20 through Prosthetic Records.
  • Master Boot Record also announced some North American headlining dates around the same time, with the release of Hardwarez coming on October 11 through Metal Blade. It’s all here – I trust you’ll be able to find what you need. Another dose of electronic metal this lovely(?) Thursday.
  • Let’s jump to the new Lacuna Coil track next. “Hosting The Shadow” features one Randy Blythe on guest vocals which is pretty damn cool. UK and Ireland tour dates in October if you happen to be over there!
  • You know what? A second Prosthetic thing today. Molder are releasing their third album, Catastrophic Reconfiguration, on November 8. The lead single and title track emerged today, if you’re interested.
  • Closing out, a new track and video from Jinjer. The visualizer for “Someone’s Daughter” is below, a track serving as a preview for what’s to come from the modern metal outfit. Apparently. You can catch them on the road soon as well… and basically through the rest of the year.

Alright gang, I’m spent. I’ll catch ya on the flipside.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
