Boston days sure do throw off the weekly rhythm, but only in the best of ways. Let’s do it again soon. Alright. Time for another late news roundup!
- Fire In The Mountains 2025 is steadily coming together. Today the festival announced, in collaboration with the newly formed Firekeeper Alliance, that Converge are officially part of the lineup. The best the festival in the fucking world keeps getting better.
- Let’s jump to some Nordic alternative folk. Kalandra released the new song titled “Ghosts”. That track is out through By Norse Music and can be streamed basically everywhere, as usual.
- Ereb Altor are releasing Hälsingemörker on February 7th through Hammerheart Records. So that rules. Better yet, we get a video for the new track “Valkyrian Fate”.
- Out of Prosthetic Records, Gama Bomb shared a new charity single and music video titled “A Coffin for Christmas”. All revenue will be donated directly to MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières, also known as Doctors Without Borders). Yeah!
- We’re going to wrap up with Bury Tomorrow. Their new album, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, will be out on May 16th, and a video for “What If I Burn” can be seen below. Lots of words I like here. Can’t speak to the music itself (yet).
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
