There have been some aggressively long days this week. At least it’s snowing again? Oh. Also. I own (another) Leica now. So that’s fun.
- Here’s one the Top Brass is excited about. California sludge legends -(16)- are dropping a covers album on May 1st through Heavy Psych Sounds titled Forgeries Vol 1, 1972-1984. Check out their take on the Bee Gees “Tragedy”.
- This band takes me back to the early 9C days. A Forest of Stars are releasing Stack Overflow in Corpse Pile Interface on May 8th through Prophecy Productions, and yes I already have it circled. Check out the lyric video for “Ascension of the Clowns”.
- Out of Season of Mist, Mawiza shared a new video for “Ngulutu”. That single is pulled from their most recent album, Ül.
- A daily dose of psych rock seems to be a thing lately, so let’s drop in the latest from Black Lung. “Forever Beyond Me” is the final advanced single taken from, well, Forever Beyond. That’s out on March 6th through Magnetic Eye.
- A very long Wednesday ends with the new video from Exhumed for “The Iron Graveyard”. Red Asphalt is out on the 20th through Relapse Records.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
