Everything consumed from Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all decided to hit me today. All day. It was like the fucking perfect storm of hangovers. But it’s cool guys, I did it for ‘Murica. So I’m gonna get you your Quickies, make no mistake. But be aware, it is going to be a struggle. Here. We. Go.

• Tour rumors and annoucements. The Good: Mastodon and Gojira! Again!; Carcass and Obituary! Maybe! The Meh: Knotfest. Er. Not-fest. Had to.
• New music video annoucements: In Flames’ “Rusted Nail” and Eluveitie’s “King”. I’ll watch both of these later. Probably.
• Remember Motley Crue? Neither do I. But they’re still trying. However, their farewell tour? Yeah, so far, it isn’t going well. Kind of a shame. We’ll see how it plays out.
• Cannibal Corpse is releasing a biography with the upcoming album release, A Skeletal Domain. This could actually be a really interesting read.
• One more tour announcement because holy shit there were a lot of them today: Tombs, Pallbearer and Vattnet Viskar will be hitting the road together this fall. Read that again–Tombs. Pallbearer. Vattnet Viskar. Together. If you aren’t at this show when it hits your neck of the woods, you’re a moron.
• I have no idea who The Story So Far is, but their lead singer tried to fight a security guard and that’s awesome as shit.

I interpret this as a band caring about its fans. And that is something that I will always find awesome. Anyway, I’m gonna go eat a burrito and drink a lot of water. Not beer. Wait…
