Was a little bit late with today’s Top 10 (THANKS, DAY JOB!) so let’s do these Quickies up nice and…well, quickly. Here’s what we missed in the world of metal today:
- Behemoth gives no fucks for your show-cancelling antics, bands that pull out of Israel gigs.
- Remember that ill-advised crowdfunding campaign Motograter started to help them maybe eventually compete for a chance to play at Slipknot’s ‘Knot Fest? Yeah…it’s not going well.
- Carcass and Obituary announced a pretty awesome-looking tour for this fall and DAMMIT GUYS, Y U NO NYC?!
- Pepper Keenan is maybe thinking about coming back to Corrosion of Conformity. The question is, do they need him at this point? Both the self-titled album and IX kicked plenty of ass without him.
- The gals in Babymetal met the guys in Unlocking the Truth, thus setting anyone and everyone who’s a fan of things that are definitely cute, but questionably metal, into a state of frenzied orgasm.
- And finally, there’s video of the full Decapitated set at this past weekend’s Bloodstock Open Air festival. Check it out below:
Good stuff. Anyway, check back tomorrow for more Horns Up!
