Holy hell has it been a strange four days. These might be your final Quickies for the week, so get em while they’re hot.

• It’s Thursday, so as usual we’ll start off with some album sales. Unless you’re a fan of 36 Crazyfists, there’s probably no point in looking at these. It’s not the best.
• Well, anyone hoping for Nevermore to somehow keep it together is shit outta luck. It appears the two remaining members have been left out on an island. No real surprise to anyone, but Nevermore was responsible for some really good shit over the years.
• Here is an excerpt from Nergal’s autobiograpy, Confessions of a Heretic, where he recalls his leukemia diagnosis. Needless to say, I can’t wait to have a copy in my hands and get the rest of the story.
• This matters to me. For a long time, tradition has been that new music is released on Tuesday. Starting this summer, it appears that will be moved to Friday. No opposition, really.
• Holy shit, guys! We get another new Enslaved song!

This one is called “One Thousand Years of Rain” and serves as another reminder that the release of In Times is drawing closer. March, 10th, to be exact.
