I’m excited. There are now zero work days between me and Hockey Town. That in mind… maybe there’s finally something interesting going on out there?

• Yes! There are good things! To start, how about some 2015 tour dates for Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum? Yes. All of the yes. They’ll be in this area early August.
• Some updates from the Nergal and Behemoth camps. You know, my favorite of the camps. It doesn’t sound like there will be any new Behemoth for awhile… but we will be getting some Nergal solo work. Kewl.
• H0ly shit. More in the lines of upcoming stuff that we should care about, Amorphis will be hitting the studio again next month. From the looks of it, we could have a new record by September. Damn.
• You know who’s a crazy dude? Randy Blythe. Here are two new tracks he wrote that are… well, I have no idea. Just listen to them. It’s the best I can do for you.
• I know I’ve shared Immortal sock puppets before… so let’s see how Slipknot matches up:
