Weekend time. Nobody talk to me until Monday. Well, some of you can. If we’re drinking.
- There has been troubling news out of the Sólstafir camp this past week, where details regarding the absence of drummer Guðmundur “Gummi” Óli Palmasson have surfaced. The band has issued a statement. You know my stance already. Or you will soon.
- Corey Taylor spent some time discussing his journey to sobriety during Slipknot’s recording of Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses. His drunk stories put me to shame.
- Apparently science seems to think bassists are more important than the rest of us. For once, I remain skeptical. Ok, it’s been more than once. It’s kinda always.
- We’ve seen a couple of these pop up. A new Metal for Nepal show has emerged in LA. These are a great idea and I’m looking forward to the same event in the Boston area.
- And finally, we get the track listing for Lamb of God‘s upcoming VII: Sturm und Drang, which is set to drop in July.
No video today guys. Sorry.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
