It’s not every day that a self-released album not only gets press but makes an actual stir in the metal community. Those days have been all but suffocated due to big business and large label politics. So it takes a special band to overcome that obstacle. Well, Horse Head have done just that, already receiving positive reviews and high praise from not only our staff (review forthcoming), but the likes of fellow metal bloggers, Toilet Ov Hell, Inhale the Heavy, No Clean Singing and more.

Once thought deceased, Horse Head have resurrected themselves and come out of the gate full steam ahead with their best work to date. Hailing from Arizona’s arid, desert climate, Horse Head create some wide-ranging yet intimate music. Check out their track “Destroyer Television” below.
