As you pitiful miscreants clamor in grocery store aisles for fresh water and saltine crackers, horrified of the impending landfall of hurricane Joaquim, I sit upon my throne giddy with laughter. As you trample each other in search of D-Batteries for your flashlights I laugh, preparing for the arrival of your mucus riddled, limp carcasses. For, the annihilation that could be caused with a wave of my hand far exceeds the pathetic winds and rain that are carried by storm designed by your God. Fill your bathtubs with water, I promise that they will drain with your blood.
So with your storms of earth on my mind, and as the hellish firestorms of my abyss rage outside my cavernous lair, I present you with a modest, yet appropriate, selection. Here is The Howling Wind with their 2010 release, Into the Cryosphere. You should only hope that the storm that ends your life is as beautiful as this music in praise of darkness.
Enjoy this modest metal. Cherish it. For your time upon this earth could be short indeed. As they said long ago, “time is short and the water rises.” As as the water rises, and your horrified screams are choked off by blood, piss and bile you will see my face hovering softly in front of you. Then you shall know that the end is here. Come towards my arms and settle into my eternal embrace.
