• Skeletonwith has a new vocalist. Adam Clemens (Wolvhammer) has recently been revealed to take over. The band just finished recording an EP and will be on the road with Abbath as part of the Decibel Magazine Tour.
• Album sales. Dream Theater with a solid opening week… despite the absurdity of their recent concept album, The Astonishing. Good for them, maybe?
• Missed this yesterday because of all the concert and festival updates, but Fallujah will be back in April with a new release titled Dreamless. Given the impressiveness of 2014’s The Flesh Prevails, excitement would be adequate reaction.
• In the most troubling news to emerge in quite some time, Iranian band Confess are facing numerous charges that are all directly tied to being a metal band. They currently face jail time and possible execution. Perspective.
• In lighter news… new Cobalt! The first track in seven years is called “Beast Whip.”
