I have to drink beer later. Life is so hard.

• Last September Mastodon lost their long-time manager, Nick John, to pancreatic cancer. His favorite band (beside Mastodon) was Led Zeppelin. In his honor, the band will be releasing a limited 10″ cover of “Stairway to Heaven” (which they played at his funeral) on Record Store Day. The proceeds will benefit cancer research. I’m getting a copy.
• Slipknot is hinting at something. And counting down to something. The obvious guess is that it’s either a tour, album, or most likely both. Moving on.
• In case you forgot, John Haughm isn’t a great person. And recently, he made some anti-Semetic comments on Facebook. As a result, former band members have further distanced themselves from him. Oh, and his current band members in Pillorian are also bailing on him. Good.
• Screw it. Let’s close with a video from something called Black Coast for a song called “Lost My Limits”.
