It is officially cold as Hell out there.
- Belgian dark metal crew Emptiness unveiled a video for the new track “Le Mal est chez lui” today. That one is taken from their new album, Vide, which is set for a February 12th release through Season of Mist.
- My Threnody, the doom metal project formed by Jefferson Britto, released its first single in 13 years, titled “Falling”. You can get a sense of what’s to come with the project’s third album by streaming that track here.
- August Burns Red surprised us all with a cover of the classic System of a Down track “Chop Suey!”. Fun fact, the original video for that System of a Down song recently hit 1 BILLION plays on YouTube.
- The Acacia Strain released a new video for “One Thousand Painful Stings” today, adding an entertainment factor to realities we can all relate to this year. That track is taken from Slow Decay, which is out now through Rise Records.
