CANTO: SNAFU, Body Void, Brand of Sacrifice, and More

This has been one of the weirdest weeks ever. Oh well. At least hockey is on tonight.

  • Detroit hardcore/thrash crew SNAFU are releasing their sophomore effort, Exile//Banishment, on March 26th through Life After Death Records. You can pre-order that and check out the first single, “Choking Game”, through Bandcamp. I’ve already done both. Go Red Wings.
  • Blackened doom duo Body Void have signed on with Prosthetic Records and are releasing their debut through that label on April 23rd, titled Bury Me Beneath This Rotting Earth. Here’s the pre-order link, and a new track titled “Wound” is streaming over at Metal Injection.
  • A couple videos today, and I’m in a sludge mood, so here’s something new I found in the inbox that I’ve been vibing with. This is the latest clip from Aulnes, a collective based out of Quebec, for “Vivre dans l’abandon”. That’s the title-track from last year’s release, which can be scooped up here.
  • And we’ll close with the new video from Brand of Sacrifice for “Altered Eyes”. That’s a new single taken from Lifeblood, which is set for a March 5th release through Blood Blast Distribution.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
