CANTO: Withered, Abstracted, Maryland Deathfest, and More

So this MDF lineup v. 2022 is looking better and better with each announcement…

Speaking of which, Blood Incantation, Obituary, and a few others were added to the lineup a few hours ago. I’ve taken some time off from that festival, but it might just be time to make the pilgrimage to The Land of Nothing and The Wire again.
Withered have unveiled new album details. Verloren will be out on June 25th through Season of Mist Underground Activists, and the video for the first new single, “By Tooth in Tongue”, is available for streaming at this location.
Brazilian progressive death metallers Abstracted have signed on with M-Theory Audio. Their debut full-length, Atma Conflux, will be released at some point later this year, but you can get an idea of what’s to come with “Decree of Sunlight” right here.
And we’ll close with the new track from Hundred Headless Horsemen, “Echoes”. That’s the first single from the psychedelic death metal collective’s new album, Apokalepsia, which will be out on May 21st.
