Man, it sure was fun being in Portland last weekend. Mastodon/Gojira/Lorna Shore didn’t suck, either.
- Leading off the week, we have Alkaloid. With the release of Numen on the horizon, the Bavarians dropped a fresh lyric video for “Numen (Dyson VII)”. That album is officially out on September 15 through Season of Mist.
- Vintage death metal project Ecocide are releasing their second album on October 23. Metamorphosis will be out through Memento Mori, and you can see a lyric video for “On the Shores of Madness” over at their YouTube channel.
- And then out of Metal Blade we have A-Z. They gave us a lyric video for “Window Panes”, a track taken from their self-titled album, which dropped about a year ago.
- That’s enough lyric videos. We’ll level up a bit to close out Monday. Fearing unveiled a music video for “Destroyer”, the brooding darkwave title-track from their new album. That’s out on September 29 through Profound Lore.
- And finally, Finnish post-metal outfit Besra have set September 29 as the release date for Transitions, their new album which will be available through Suicide Records. Check out the video for the new single, “Sentinels”, below.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
