I’m glad tomorrow is Friday, but fittingly it’s going to rain all weekend.
- Apparently Dimmu Borgir is releasing a covers album, which is an interesting concept to say the least. Inspiratio Profanus will be out on December 8 through Nuclear Blast, and the first offering, Venom’s “Black Metal”, can be accessed here.
- Another one out of Nuclear Blast. Progressive death metal crew Alluvial have set January 12 as the release date of their new EP, Death Is But A Door. Give “Bog Dweller” a listen here.
- Danish death metallers Plaguemace are releasing their debut album Reptilian Warlords on November 17 through Napalm Records. Check out the second single from that effort, “Rhythmic Demise”, a listen here.
- Let’s sprinkle in a little metalcore. Hollow Front, out of Grand Rapids, are only a week away from the release of The Fear of Letting Go. To get us all warmed up they shared a video for “Will I Run?”. That album will be out on UNFD.
- And I’m going to slide into this Friday before a mundane weekend with some Rivers of Nihil. Give the video for “Hellbirds” a watch below. That’s the second single taken from a March 2023 recording session, the other being “The Sub-Orbital Blues”.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
