• Leading off, Italian metal band Gengis Khan announced (and released) a new EP, titled Masters of my sins. That’s been made available digitally already, but CDs are coming next month if you’re looking for a physical offering.
• For those looking for a hardcore injection early in 2024, Freya and Rig Time! announced January dates in the U.S. The party kicks off on January 12 in Salisbury, MD and runs through the 20th in Cleveland, covering a decent chunk of the East Coast/Mid-Atlantic along the way.
• How about something in the post-metal/shoegaze realm? Out of Austria, the new single from Svntarer, “Burnt Out Into Oblivion”, can be heard here. The standalone track is a personal and emotive one that is definitely worth your time.
• Horror-infused thrash collective Scarefield revealed a new track and animated music video, titled “Ancient Evil”. That track is part of the Nightmare Tales EP, a Lovecraft-inspired collection.
• Power metal crew Dominum are releasing their debut album on Friday through Napalm Records, titled Hey Living People. A video for the title track was unveiled today, which you can watch and listen to immediately below.
