Sloooooow week here on Initial Descent but it always is for the first week or two of a new year. And that folks, we are in…it’s officially 2024 as of today so Happy New Year and all that jazz. Do me a favor though: do not make any resolutions. I mean, you know that by mid January whatever you ‘resoluted’ about will be in the rearview so make a REVELATION instead. Make it something you WILL do and not something you might do but won’t. Then, OWN it and do it. No slippin’. Alright then, this week Cancer Christ kicks off 2024 in hardcore punk (think GG Allin style but with more Satan) style and then…yep, that’s about it. Well, there are at least a couple worthy of seeking out but none more fun than God Is Violence so go check that out. As we get cracking on our Best of 2023 lists, expect many more of those over the next couple weeks and maybe some reviews sprinkled in, hopefully. Anyway, enjoy and see you here throughout the week.
