
It’s only Tuesday? Weird. Long weekend ahead at least.
- NYC death metal band Hypoxia, featuring members of Monstrosity, Vile, Castrator, and more, are dropping their third album on February 23 through Selfmadegod Records, titled Defiance. A lyric video for “Bleed For Blasphemy” can be seen here.
- French black metal outfit Merrimack shared the second single from Of Grace and Gravity, “Dead and Distant Clamors”. That new album is set for a March 8 drop through Season of Mist.
- Swiss modern metal project Illumishade, which features members of Eluveitie, dropped a new single titled “Cloudreader”. The music video for that one can be seen here. Another Side of You is out on February 16 through Napalm Records.
- Out of Armageddon Label, Agonista announced March 8 as the release of their debut album, Grey and Dry, which will be available on vinyl format. Check out “Abuse/Diffuse” to get a sense of what’s coming.
- Darkgaze practitioners Austere released the first single taken from their upcoming new album, Beneath the Threshold. A video for “Faded Ghost” can be seen below. Keep an eye out for that album when it drops on April 5 through Lupus Lounge.
