Yep, it’s official. The first concert of 2024 is locked in. And it’s gonna be a good one.

  • Ulthar announced their first U.S. tour in a half a decade! …and it doesn’t come anywhere near me. Life be like that sometimes. The party starts April 26 in Oakland and wraps up May 9 at Northwest Terror Fest.
  • Melodic death metal crew Volcandra announced details surrounding their sophomore album. The Way of Ancients will be out on March 1 through Prosthetic Records. Check out the lead single, “Fouled Sanctity”, over at Decibel.
  • Svalbard is popular around here, so it would be wise of me to share their new video for “To Wilt Beneath The Weight”. That’s taken from The Weight Of The Mask, which is available through Nuclear Blast.
  • Closing out with a couple Metal Blade offerings. First, Midnight is releasing Hellish Expectations on March 8, and a video for “F.O.A.L.” can be seen here.
  • And the new Job for a Cowboy? Pretty. Pretty. Pretty good! We’ll close out with the video for “Beyond the Chemical Doorway”. Moon Healer is out on February 23 through Metal Blade… just in case you needed a reminder.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
