• Leading off, we’ll mark the release of A Mortal Binding, the 15th studio album from My Dying Bride, with their new lyric video for “Her Dominion”. That album is out through Nuclear Blast… and I have failed to listen to it yet.
• What I have been listening to, however, is Upharsin, the latest from Blaze of Perdition. It’s awesome, and it is also out today (through Metal Blade). A new visualizer for “Młot, miecz i bat”, the closing track, can be seen here.
• If you aren’t picking up on it, this was a massive week for new releases, one that also included the new Couch Slut. You Could Do It Tonight is out on Brutal Panda, and they shared a video for “Wilkinson’s Sword” along with the release.
• Fine, we’ll include something upcoming. Bavarian death metallers Commander have set June 27 as the release date for Angstridden, their first album since 2018 which will be out through MDD Records… but it sounds like we need to wait a little longer for some new tunes. Bummer.
• And we’ll head into the weekend with the new single and video from Lacuna Coil titled “In The Mean Time”. Check it out below. That track features Ash Costello of New Years Day, who they have some upcoming tour dates with next month.
