We’re donuting this morning because I didn’t get back to my laptop until way too late last night. Not complaining, even though my pending writing pile grows taller.
- Starting out of Season of Mist, Defeated Sanity are releasing a new album on November 22 titled Chronicles of Lunacy. If you need a dose of extreme metal that kinda pushes things for ya tonight, check out “The Odour of Sanctity” here.
- And then we have the new stuff from Nightwish. The new track and video titled “The Day Of…” can be consumed here. That serves as the second single pulled from their tenth studio album, Yesterwynde, which drops on September 20 through Nuclear Blast.
- There were a couple of inbox items around Kings of Mercia yesterday, so I guess we’ll go there next! With their second album, Battle Scars, arriving on October 25 through Metal Blade, they shared a clip for “Don’t Ask” if you find yourself interested. Moving on.
- In search of something a little… different from that, I landed on apocalyptic black/death nihilists Adorior. Bleed on My Teeth, their first full-length offering in a couple of decades, will be out on September 27 through Dark Descent Records. Here’s “Scavengers of Vengeance” for your streaming pleasure.
- It would be a horrific mistake to not close with the new track from one of my favorite bands. Schammasch are releasing The Maldoror Chants: Old Ocean, the second album in that series, on October 25 through Prosthetic Records. Check out “They Have Found Their Master” below. Yes, it’s incredible. Thanks for asking.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
