Yo so like… I’m reacclimating to the routine way too easily. Not great! Thankfully September is going to a ride. Just how much of a ride exactly is still TBD.
- I’ll mark my return to this space with some hardcore punk. Surprised? Me too. Wolfbrigade are releasing Life Knife Death on September 13 through Metal Blade, and today they gave us the title track from the new album.
- We already know about Shining, the new Swallow The Sun album out on October 18 through Century Media, but now we also have an early 2025 tour to look forward to. I don’t anticipate missing the Boston stop, because Harakiri For The Sky, Ghost Bath, and Snakes of Russia will be along for the ride. Sweet.
- Hey remember Vile Rites and their new album Senescence that we featured right before I disappeared on everyone? Well, it dropped a couple weeks back through Carbonized Records and it’s awesome. If you needed a reminder. To keep it at the top of your playlists, they just offered up a video for “Only Silence Follows”.
- I’m a big fan of the black metal emerging out of Germany these days, so the latest from Agrypnie is next. The third track from Erg has been revealed, one titled “Unter Sandessen und verscharrt”. As a reminder (is it a reminder?), that album is out on September 13 through AOP Records.
- And to wrap up Thursday, the day before the Friday before a long weekend I might add, we have the video from Oceans for “Spit”. The German nu-metal crew are releasing their third album on September 27 through Nuclear Blast, titled HAPPY.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
