Happy. Friday. Morning. Remember folks, when it comes to my writing, the most important words are the ones I exclude. Alright let’s do this thing.
- Is art rock a thing we like? I suppose it can be, when it’s a Pelagic Records thing. Klone shared the new single “Magnetic” from their forthcoming record The Unseen. That one is set for a November 8 release.
- Sylosis surprise released their new EP, The Path, just ahead of their upcoming co-headlining tour with Fit For An Autopsy. That’s out through Nuclear Blast, and a video for the title track can be seen here, a track that features Debbie Gough of of Heriot.
- Psych doom, since that’s the kick I’ve been on… much of 2024? Coma Hole unveiled a new single titled “King Bee” (very different from Queen of Bee!… never mind). Anyway, Hand Of Severance is out on November 1.
- Oh shit! New Monolithe! Check out the single “On the Run to Nowhere”. Black Hole District is out November 15 through Hammerheart.
- To end/start the day, we have a new video from Octoploid for “Monotony”. The band founded by Amorphis bassist Olli-Pekka “Oppu” Laine released Beyond The Aeons back in July through RPM, where this track was only available as a bonus on physical format. So that’s cool!
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
