This past weekend sure was one for the books. Better still? The inbox looks quiet.
- Let’s start with an item that technically emerged last Friday. Oni released their new single, “Déjà Vu”, along with a lyric video. That track follows the third full-length from the progressive metalcore project, The Silver Line, which was released last year.
- Next up, an atmospheric black metal project I have grown to love. Switzerland’s Aara are releasing Eiger on December 6 through Debemur Morti Productions. A concept album about a mountain? Say less. Give “Felsensang” a listen here.
- We have a signing to report. Post-death metal outfit Death Descending have inked a death with Wormholedeath for the release of a self-titled debut EP, which drops on November 22. Here’s a teaser for ya.
- Florida’s Seven Kingdoms released a new single titled “Through These Waves”. That’s the second offering from their upcoming EP, The Square. That drops on November 8 through Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
- And we’ll close out with a different form of black metal, one that is nicely psych-infused. Check out the new video from Furze for “Marrow Creed” below. Cosmic Stimulation of Dark Fantasies (sheesh) will be out on November 15.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
