Yea, it’s almost lunch time but who cares, donuts are good all day and THIS news you’ll want to read.
- Cleveland, OH death metallers Druparia revealed a new video for “Sever The Roots“ which is the second single off their debut album The River Above, due out December 27. Anyone crazy over The Absence and Skeletonwitch should take heed.
- Progressive metal goths, The Old Dead Tree, are featuring a full album stream of Second Thoughts just in time for today’s full release via Season of Mist. If nothing else, look at it as a free preview.
- And now for the news that has me on CLOUD NINE. SpiritWorld, with Century Media Records, has released a new single and video, “Western Stars & The Apocalypse” and no surprise to anyone, it RULES. The band’s brand of Wild West motifs mixed with metallic hardcore and melodic death / thrash is as on point as ever. Founder and frontman Stu Folsom had the following to say about the track: “I wrote this right after Deathwestern came out, when we got home from touring Europe with Agnostic Front…” and “I was revisiting a lot of Bob Dylan in my bunk on that tour and there is a nod to his song “Desolation Row” in the lyrics.” Not giving too much away but the video really gives a deep internal look of the band’s inner workings and puts a face to the sound. Be on the lookout for a HUGE 2025 from SpiritWorld and hit play below…
Play it loud…
