First Canto of 2025? First Canto of 2025! But is anything happening out there?

• We’ll start with Croatian heavy thrashers Kamäradi. To kick off the new year they released a lyric video for “Loudness and Speed” (Hilarious. I fucking love it). That’s the title track from their upcoming third album, which will be out… eventually this year.
• Next up, Seattle’s action metal (I don’t know what that is?) crew Hyperstrike released their debut single, “Warning Shot”. Whatever, this rules. When the band members go by Chop Daddy, The Claw, Goblin, and Brain Lord… you have my full attention.
• Savage Master have set the release date for their upcoming fifth album. Dark & Dangerous (same – sometimes!) will be out on March 28th through Shadow Kingdom Records. We’ll stay tuned for… new tunes.
• Out of Theogonia Records, Damon Systema are releasing Ate, their debut album, on March 21st. “Harvest of Tears” premiered today and you can give that a listen here.
• And we’ll close out with Destroyers of All and their video for “Ritual”. They have a new album on the way, In Darkness We Remain, but that has no official release date yet.
