Believe it or not, I’m currently drafting a post that is not a Canto or Profile. The times they are a-changin’! (But not really.)
- I haven’t shared a tour announcement in a little bit, nor have I mentioned Dragged Into Sunlight. Let’s do both! The absolutely devastating extreme metal outfit are embarking on a North American tour with Mizmor and Meth, kicking off with their performance at Maryland Death Fest.
- Iron Lung are releasing their first new album in 12 years on April 18th through Iron Lung Records, titled Adapting // Crawling. Today they unveiled a triptych singles video for “Purgatory Dust” / “Virus” / “Purgatory Dust (Finale)”.
- Something different! Instrumental dungeon synth and folk project Teeth of the Fae dropped a visualizer for “Cells Below The Shroom Homes”, a track taken from Beneath Pointed Hat. That’s out on March 28th through Wormholedeath. I’m entertained by this.
- Finnish blackthrash institution Urn revealed the first track from Demon Steel, titled “Burning Blood’s Curse”. Their seventh album is set for a March 28th release through Osmose Productions.
- And we’ll wrap up with some Swedish power metal. The Storyteller unleashed a lyric video for “Fields of Blood and Steel”, which is available below. The Final Stand is out on April 25th through The Circle Music.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
