And we’re back to base. Cantos and Profiles from me the rest of the week!
- Yep! I am still VERY excited about Cult of the Serpent Sun. The new album from Nite is out on March 14th through Season of Mist, and yes I will remind you of that every time they drop an update. This time it comes in the form of “The Mystic”.
- Out of Prosthetic Records, Thus Spoke Zarathustra have set May 23rd as the release date for I’m Done With Self Care, It’s Time For Others’ Harm (…hilarious). “I Can’t Save You” features Matt McDougall from Boundaries and can be heard here.
- Post-metal instrumentalists Telepathy are releasing a new full-length on March 28th through Pelagic Records, titled Transmissions. I tend to like Pelagic things so we’ll keep an eye on this one. Give “End Transmission” a listen now.
- I suppose I can work in a tour, even if it comes nowhere near me. Witch Ripper have a U.S. run in April and May which will be in support of 2023’s The Flight after the Fall.
- Texas shoegazers Glare shared a video for the new single “Nü Burn”, and that’s how we’ll end our Tuesday. Sunset Funeral is slated for an April 4th release through Deathwish. They’ll also be on tour with Superheaven this April and May.
