On Thursdays we run the trails. Slowly. I realize it is also quite late. Deal.
- We’ll start with the big news from Megadeth. Their final studio album is imminent, along with a global farewell tour. Here’s the full update. I’m already making plans around this.
- Chicago progressive metal outfit Dissona launched the new single “Weaponized”. A new full-length album, Receptor, is out on October 1st through Earache Distribution.
- Today Is The Day will release their 14th full-length studio album on October 3rd through SuperNova Records, titled Never Give In. Check out the video for the title track right now.
- How about a little hardcore? New Englanders Restraining Order dropped a visualizer for the new single “Were You There”. They’ve got a new album out through Blue Grape Music on September 12th, and then a whole bunch of live dates before the end of the year.
- Gaerea have a new home, and it’s Century Media Records. It appears that a new album is coming next year, but for now we get a new single and video titled “Submerged”. Give it a watch below.
