That was one hell of a weekend. Recovery time will be extensive. What’d I miss? According to the inbox… a whole lot.
- Let’s start with some blackened thrash out of the Atlanta region. Malefic offered up the first glimpse of their debut album, a track titled “It Haunts”. Impermanence is set for a February 13th drop through Terminus Hate City.
- Next up, brutal death metal out of Texas. Architectural Genocide are back, and five years removed from their debut they’ll give us Malignant Cognition. No new tunes yet, but that’s coming on January 16th through Comatose Music.
- Chile’s Death Yell gave us “The Parish”, the second track serving as a preview of Demons of Lust. Their sophomore album will arrive on November 28th through Hells Headbangers.
- Four items is more than enough tonight. To end Monday with a bit of black metal, we have the new single and video from Varmia titled “Zwykli Zmarli”. That’s the first taste of their fifth album, details of which should emerge soon.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
