Well, another massive release day has arrived. How are we all keeping up? Poorly, like myself? Sick.
- Enslaved gave us something new, different, and enjoyable today. Two sea shanties, “Fire Marengo” and “Anna Lovinda”, were released in collaboration with the Storm Weather Shanty Choir. Definitely worth a couple of listens.
- Massachusetts noise rock outfit The Frēqs are releasing their debut album, No God On The Gold Coast, on May 29th. The leading track from that collection, “John Travolta”, is available in video form here.
- For a dose of metalcore, next up we have Age of Ruin and their new video for “Falling”. That’s their first offering since last year’s full-length album Nothingman, so we’ll see what’s to follow soon I’m sure.
- Medieval black metal entity Grabunhold are releasing their second album, Frostheim, on June 5th through Iron Bonehead Productions, five years following their debut. Give “Grambergs Fluch” a listen right now.
- We started this list celebrating a new release, so we may as well end it the same way. Hellripper dropped Coronach today via Century Media… and it is awesome. Check out the lyric video for “Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm” below.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
