The 432nd edition of the Nine Circles Playlist can’t believe it’s Spring…and can’t believe that over the news of a new and truly ridiculous looking Darkthrone album, we have the surprise return of Neurosis…with Aaron Turner now in the fold?!

This past week almost burst there were so many great releases, and the 9C crew are all just as excited by the news (well, the Neurosis news, anyway) and came loaded for bear with a bevy of heavy. We’ve got – of course– the new Stormkeep which sounds incredible, and there’s also the thunderous approach of new Jungle Rot, another cut from the excellent new Gaerea, whipping tracks from Exodus, Cognizance, A Pregnant Light, Meejah, and some beautiful All Them Witches making new noises amidst the other buried surprises.
