Well, hey, at least my hockey team still sucks. There is consistency somewhere in this crazy world!
- Industrial black metal to open our account for the week. Antihuman Industries revealed “Lucid Dream”, the second track to emerge from Accelerated Death Impulse. Their debut album is out on April 30th through W.T.C. Productions.
- New Jersey death metal outfit Funebrarum also shared a second offering from their next album. Beckoning the Void of Eternal Silence drops on May 29th through Pulverised Records and “From Rotting Burial Shrouds” can be streamed through Bandcamp. And, well, pretty much everywhere else. But you get Bandcamp.
- Quick tour announcement. Ohio sludge crew Radian have a handful of Midwest dates next month, and that should serve as the start of a busy tour stretch in 2026 following the release of Subterfuge last month.
- Portland post-doom metal collective Burial Clouds are releasing Burn Holy on May 22nd through, and “Be Not Afraid” can be seen and heard here.
- Canada’s Truck Violence exist somewhere, somehow, between hardcore and folk. They announced a new LP, The weathervane is my body, will be out on June 26th through The Flenser. Here’s a video for “New Jesus”.
