Things should be a little more back to normal this week. Maybe!
- I’m on one of my usual Swedish death metal kicks, so this week will open up with Februus. September 4th has been set as the release date for the sophomore album Construction of Conflict. That’s a Transcending Obscurity release and you can preview a couple of tracks through Bandcamp.
- A tour! Greenleaf announced their first ever North American shows. The Scandinavian heavy rockers will be over here in September and October with Howling Giant and High Desert Queen, and the full schedule is available here.
- Destructor are dropping their seventh album this coming Friday through Shadow Kingdom Records (is this really the first I’m hearing of this?) and “Harbinger of Death” is streaming through Bandcamp.
- This looks interesting. Québec City-based Bulgarian folk and black metal band Tsar Stangra have Химните на разрушените светове (Hymns of the Broken Worlds) arriving on July 1st. Here’s a visualizer for “Земни стражи” (Guardians of the Earth).
- Yeah, we can wrap up with a little metalcore. Under Auburn Skies have a new EP coming in July, titled Diminsher of Hope, and a video for “Final Sin” is below.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
