So for those unaware, I enjoy many beers. But aside from that, in real world talk, the Berlin Wall fell November 9, 1989. This would be 25 years ago this past Sunday. Allow us to dabble in yet another timely-ish Throwback Thursday (if there has ever been an untimely Throwback… we’re doing it wrong).

Now, much can’t be done with the fall be The Berlin Wall. You all know there is footage all over the place. Not to mention, this crazy Roger Waters performance of The Wall in Berlin back in 1990, but Pink Floyd has come up enough this week (yes, coming from me), so let’s share something different.

When in Germany, do Germany. Here’s Rammstein:

For the idiots out there, this is Rammstein’s full Live Aus Berlin album/performance, from back in 1998. Is this as timely as the Roger Waters show? No, because that was partly put on because of the fall of the wall. But… relative to aforemention, when doing German, one must go all German.

As for the set list itself… naturally it’s predominantly their earlier work. You get your classics like ‘Du Hast’, ‘Herzeleid’, ‘Engel’, and ‘Tier’ in there, which is all kinds of awesome. Although shit… now I feel old because this stuff came out so long ago. No matter, they sound great, without a doubt. But I gotta ask, what the fuck is Till wearing in this?

Anyhoo, think what you will, but it’s worth a viewing.
