Midweek everyone and apparently I/we totally forgot your Retrospective for the week. No matter, I can sum it up one phrase: everything we enjoyed from earlier this year. There ya have it.
- One of the bands that really caught our interest at MDF 2013 was Pelican. Thing was, they were an instrumental act. Apparently… not anymore. Good news… it works!
- In case you didn’t pick up on the new members of Slipknot, you’re in luck. A fired drum tech has filled us in! Really though, kind of a dick move. I laughed. (It’s Alessanddro Venturella and Jay Weinberg, for the lazy.)
- We’re all aware of Periphery’s upcoming double album, Juggernaut. We recently shared a track from Alpha. Today, you get a track called ‘The Bad Thing’ off Omega. My interest is growing.
- Somebody is getting all Norwegian on Delaware. Three churches were burned to the ground. While we all know how I feel about religion (very little), this is fucking stupid. Tax payers are going to pay for the rebuilding efforts.
- Speaking of religion, Behemoth released a video for ‘Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer’!
Somehow they make live clips even more interesting. Because Satan. Getting exponentially excited for that VIP experience in a few months…
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
