I hope everyone has had a good week and a better subsequent weekend. It’s definitely been a busy stretch on our end, so let’s revisit a few things that deserve a second look…
- To start, Episode 43 of the The Horns Up Podcast was a big one. As highlights, Dan and Corey discussed North American metal festivals and the new album from Enslaved.
- This week kicked off our new column, “The Many Faces of Manny”. For the inaugural post, Manny vents his annoyance at moshing.
- Taking a look at the hardcore punk scene, Corey reviewed the new Cancer Bats album, Searching for Zero.
- And finally, for a trip back in time, Dan revisited Death’s classic The Sounds of Perseverance.
Well, that should just about do it for another week. A quick look ahead… For those in the NYC area, we’ll be checking out the Enslaved/Yob show this coming Saturday night.
