• We will be getting into this in far more detail in a few days, but Behemoth have released an incredible new music video for “The Satanist.” All hail Behemoth.
• Riot Fest, headlined by System of a Down, was this past weekend. Unfortunately the band was too well-received, as security intervened in the mosh pit on multiple occasions. There were injuries and the band was forced to stop the set multiple times.
• I haven’t quite determined my stance on this new development, but Budweiser shit-beer will be releasing Metallica-themed cans. If I see them, I will get them. Instead of PBR. Once.
• So maybe Mayhem Fest isn’t dead? According to John Reese, nothing is being ruled out. He also sheds some interesting light on the lack of major headliners in hard rock. Duh, dude. Comes with the territory.
