The last few days have been a blitz. A few days off and then another show on Saturday!

• Finland has a new headbanger emoji that will be surfacing around Christmas time. And once again, we are inferior.
• Avenged Sevenfold has a new drummer. And his name is Brooks Wackerman. He was in Bad Religion until 2001, so the name may be recognized for some.
• Obscura has a countdown! To what? We don’t know, but countdowns are exciting regardless. It’s probably an album announcement, which would be cool.
• Did Tool play a new song on Halloween? It certainly looks like it. Or sounds like it. Or maybe it doesn’t at all. You figure it out.
• Here’s my favorite video today. It’s Enslaved playing a live in-studio version of “Convoys to Nothingness.”
