Hi gang. I took yesterday off because it was a day off work and I was in good company. And also because I’m pretty convinced you can all survive a day without me. Maybe I’m wrong.
- Killswitch Engage has announced an upcoming North America tour that will kick off at the end of this winter and run through April (Sarah with the assist on this one, glad someone has my back). Details regarding their upcoming album, Incarnate, set to drop March 11th, were also revealed.
- So Guns N’ Roses, and I mean the recently reunited kind, have announced additional stadium shows following their Coachella bomb from a couple weeks back. They’re asking 3 million per show. Have fun buying those tickets. I will not be.
- VH1 has canceled That Metal Show. Couple things here. 1. I didn’t know VH1 was still a thing. 2. I didn’t know That Metal Show was still a thing. So I guess you can still call this news?
- One more tour to round off the day. Disturbed and Rob Zombie will be working through basically the middle of the country this coming May.
- I’ve been waiting on this for awhile. The Resistance, a project formed from the minds of Marco Aro, Jesper Strömblad, and Daniel Antonsson among others, has new material for us. Check out the crunchy new “Death Blow” below. It’s heavy.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
