I’m back from the mountains so I guess I don’t have an excuse.

• Armstrong Metalfest has revealed it’s full lineup for 2018. Kataklysm and Archspire are among the highlights. The fest runs July 13th and 14th. If you find yourself in Western Canada this summer, get at this.
• So this is inevitably going to be entertaining. Jack Black has announced that there will be a sequel to 2006’s The Pick Of Destiny. The number of times I have quoted that movie is completely unhealthy. I’m excited.
• Hey, remember that Obscura thing I mentioned last week? Well, this isn’t a teaser. It’s a whole song. It’s called “Diluvium” and it’s exactly what you would expect. Not a bad thing?
• Here’s a video for Dopethrone‘s “Killdozer”. Their new album, Transcanadian Anger, is out May 25th.
