Holy Hell I am tired today. Thankfully, my new Churchburn hat showed up in the mail.

• Kataklysm guitarist Jean-François Dagenais recently tested positive for COVID-19 and had been experiencing some pretty severe symptoms. He dropped a message today to shed some light on his experience. Hopefully he continues to feel better.
• On August 29th, this coming Saturday, Trivium are offering up “The Deepest Cuts” free live stream event. It will take place in their rehearsal room, and will be broadcast through Matt Heafy’s Twitch channel.
• Belgian death metallers Carnation have shared the title-track from their upcoming new album, Where Death Lies. The record is set to be released on September 18th through Season of Mist.
• NoN (formerly Now Or Never) dropped a new single and music video for “Ordinary World” through Crusader Records. If some melodic metal seems like a good way to end your Monday, have at it.
