By the time this goes to print, I’ll be knee deep in my once a year “Great Reset.” It has been a grueling and ridiculously stressful first half of 2021, on so many fronts, so this will be a much needed thing to unfray the frayed ends of sanity. I’m pretty sure most of you reading this can relate. Anyway, the new metal listings this week kick off with an impeccable second full length from doomgazers King Woman that, to my ears, is leaps and bounds over the debut, just incredible.
